After a successful season, the girls’ soccer team finished with a record of 4-10-1. They had plenty of team bonding, including team dinners, playing headbands, and watching scary movies. They believed in their process called CPR, which stands for character trait, process, and result. Each athlete picked a trait that they would like to work on, decided on a process that would allow them to improve, and saw results throughout the season. Coach Patierno would like to send a special thank you to all of the supporters, friends, and family members, and he is proud to have so many young players returning next year that demonstrate resilience, positivity, hard work, and focus on a daily basis.

On behalf of all the seniors, Molly Greenholz would like to say that it was a fantastic final season with the Sleepy Hollow soccer program. They are all very upset to be leaving but they are proud of how far they have come. They will miss playing for Coach Patierno and they hope that he has many successful seasons in the future. Congratulations again to the girls’ varsity soccer team, along with captains Julia Friedman, Natalie Smith, and Taylor Burnett!
